JLS The self entrerprizing boy band

Who would have thought that the once famous boy band “take that” came away with ony one hundred and fifty pound pocket money in there hay-day? Unbelievable but true. And theres more. Apparently other famous boy bands also sang for peanuts whilst their managers went and siphoned of the real money. This was reported by non other than the BBCs entertainment reporter, Mark Savage and posted on the BBC web site!

Apparently the best way to go about entering and surviving financially is to swot up on the entertainment business, get a degree and don’t let your managers know too much. Preparing for your financial long term future by investing also helps. So financially sound behaviour such as buying property and making sound investments instead of boozing the night away and buyig fast cars that depreciate just as fast is the way to go.

So instead of living for the here and now getting chemical skin peels and fast cars, having fun with the music biz and all the perks it brings these youngsters should be financial savvy and look towards tomorrow. Tell me seriously how many pre age 40s actually think of such things whilst they’re famous and seemingly on the road to riches?

Apparently there is such a breed of new young enterprenure musicians here and succeeding. They have with unbelieving ears heard of the prior misfortunes of those boy band s that have gone before and are armed with industry knowledge, educated, talented and don’t let potential financial vultures shuch as entertainment management get too close.

They are called JLS. Looks like they’re here to stay for the long term having had a third succesful number one song in the UK called “The club is alive”. Watch out US and the rest of the world. They may be on their way to conqering the music scene in your town soon.
